After shopping around for the longest time…we finally made a decision on this.

Initially we went the usual route of looking at Grohe and Hansgrohe stuff…even went to interior affairs to see if we could pick up any good bargains.  We were on quite a tight budget…and knew that we couldn’t go crazy…but man did they have some nice stuff.  But it was totally out of our price range.  The ones that were in our price range…was like a Grohe set…but it is made in Thailand.  It got us wondering if it is really worth it.  The design was the usual design…the mixer looked like any other mixer, but it had the grohe logo.  we weren’t sure if we were paying for the name and that is about it.

Then we thought…maybe we go the really CHEAP route of buying from China.  The prices are crazy cheap!!  But after advice from fellow RenoTalk forumers and friends…we dropped that idea.  lets not play around with water…leakage is not a fun thing.  And it would cost heaps.

So initially it was back to the Grohe or Hansgrohe.  That was till we saw these!!!  European designed and made…LOOOOOOOOVE!!!  I like the sleek design…and it doesn’t look like the usual taps…a little sexier.  Price wise…we managed to get a 40% discount…which brought the price to about the same as the Grohe stuff made in Thailand!  We were so excited…we locked it in..!

Our taps for the three bathroom sinks!  Fratelli Frattini – Brera Series (59054 basin mixer)

Matching shower mixer to the tap!  This is for the two bathrooms upstairs…Fratelli Frattini – Brera Series 59006 Exposed shower mixer only

We chose this shower system for the two bathrooms..but not the mixer.  We changed it to the one at the top.  We also changed the handheld to a big round one…just cos that is what we like :)  Delta Rainshower Column

All done!! They are so pretty!!! Love it how we could mix and match, and they had so many options…we took quite a while to decide what we wanted…but we FINALLY did! Happy!!!   :sport-smiley-018:
