Met up with our IDers and contractor over the weekend.  We have all the lighting points and switches sorted for the home!  :good:   We have a bit of “homework” to do…we have to call up open net people and get them to move the open net box.  Contractor updated us that he is going to start tiling downstairs while HDB finally APPROVES the banging of the wall.  Final paper work being sorted now.  The delay in the banging of the study room wall has come as a blessing in disguise.

The electrician pointed out that the open net box is in the study room at the moment, but it is best to move it to the tv area downstairs so that we can have the option of hooking the tv up to the open net box in the future.  To keep wiring concealed…our contractor will lay a pipe to the ground level flooring…that wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for the delay.  Silver lining!  :sport-smiley-018:

Our contractor was really quite cute.  He was going on and on about how much he likes the cement screed like tiles we have in the bathroom, and he shared that he actually got the hollow bricks for the powder room from JB.  (i wanted the real rustic look and did not want the green patterned hollow bricks).

It looks like things will finally start moving this week.  Our electrician will next have to show us samples of switches etc…and contractor is going to get the carpenter in to start work on fabricating our cabinets and wardrobes.  We have already sorted out with our IDers the design of our shoe cabinet and wardrobe.
